No one arrives at Virtue alone. Mentors, friends, strangers and role models provide examples that inspire and guide us. With gratitude to those souls who have helped us in our philosophical journey we open the Hall of Heroes. As Marcus Aurelius dedicated the first part of his meditations those who helped him, the first part of Virtue Commons is a place to record our gratitude and admiration for the special influences in our lives, that their example may shine not only for us but for all.
In the physical space of Virtue Commons there will be a space dedicated to preserving these recognitions.

Donations toward the creation of Virtue Commons have been made in honor of the following individuals:
Leo of Hayward, California. I am forever grateful for his example of humility and toleration in forging the strongest of bonds while at the same time maintaining his genuine independence, style and character. His steadfast friendship and heartfelt generosity are examples worthy of imitation. Truly there is no one in the world like Leo and I am honored to call him friend. - James
