The Intergalactic Foundation is based in the United States of America and it is in her character and traditions that we make our home.

This does not mean it is a better culture.  At different times Nature calls upon different views and approaches.  A great danger is in trying to subsume all of humanity into a single culture, for that creates one point of failure for civilization.  

Instead, bloom where you are planted.  Work diligently to understand virtue and how you can make your own country better and yet keep its character intact.

As individuals need their identities, so do nations and it is in the inevitable friction that often creates the tension that brings us to our best.

May the contents and principles here be useful to anyone wishing to live a good life wherever fate has planted them.
